Conference Philosophy & Topics

The Carbonate Forum aims to bring together those working across the whole breadth of carbonate research to foster discussion and share knowledge and ideas. It gives a voice to those scientists in the early stages of their career who are often at the forefront of scientific advances, but who are not always able to attend international conferences. This conference has a low-carbon footprint, is inclusive, and has the ongoing support of Seds Online.

As such, this conference is totally free, free to submit an abstract, free to present and free to attend. All you have to do is register at the link provided above.

Topics

We want to have the fullest possible range of submissions, so we are not providing a conventional list of topics, but rather a graphic map of all the topics we could think of! We want to hear about your research, not only if you’re working specifically on carbonate sediments or rocks, but also about research that overlaps with, or could be applied to carbonate sedimentology. See the graphic map below for some ideas, and submit an abstract here.
